Room Design Ideas for Teenage Girls

Room Design Ideas for Teenage Girls

Looking for fresh design ideas for pretentious and stylish teenage girls?  For today we’ve gathered together a set of pictures which represent teenage girls’ rooms. We tried to do a various selection: we went with some serious and sober interiors, but we also gave a shot to the familiar and very popular pink, orange and red arrangements. All of the girls’ rooms are practical, featuring working spaces, small bookcases or shelving systems for books and Cds and beautiful cabinets especially designed for teenage girls. Last but not least, we consider the mirror to be a mandatory item in any girl’s bedroom, so in some of the photos below you will notice they have a special status. Even though not all the room design ideas have a particular theme, the decorating elements are very well interconnected creating interiors that are both functional and aesthetic.

The RAINBOW House

The RAINBOW House

We recently received a welcoming and colorful home design by Max Lam, the Chief Designer of Moderne . According to the press release they sent us, the Rainbow House is a “830 sqf flat at The Cairnhill in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. The entire concept is inspired by a RAINBOW. The main colours of this home are green, yellow and red. The rainbow goes from the living room to the dining room, from walls to ceilings, thoroughly decorates 11 feet high ceiling, and then goes over the hidden room door. The unique stainless steel lamps together with the colourful settings, contribute to a sharp and trendy environment. Max combined the two rooms into one, in order to enlarge the space.

How to Choose Summer Kitchen

Now that the weather is getting nicer, all ideas of outdoor leisure home activities come flooding back to your mind. Adding a summer kitchen to your outdoor patio maybe just the piece that is missing from yours!

Decorative Wood Panels for Walls

Decorative Wood Panels for Walls

These decorative wood panels for walls give your space an earthy, natural look but with contemporary flair. The Split (Cleft) panels by Klaus Wangen would be right at home in a living or dining room, in the front foyer or in the home theater (these wood panels will naturally change the acoustics in the room). Available in different finishes and designs, it is the wood’s inherent characteristics that make these wall panels so unique. Because they are made of split solid wood, they have a wonderfully rustic look that embraces every grain, every knot, every imperfection. Choose from oak, ash or beech, with an intricate process of being oiled, waxed, and in its natural state or glazed.

Patio Tables with Sunshade

Patio Tables with Sunshade

This totally unique patio table by Extremis puts an innovative twist on tradition in interior design. The Hopper table by designer Dirk Wynants was inspired by farmers, hoppers, long days in the fields and the communal celebrations that followed the harvest, at long rows of tables much like this. This modern variation features an industrial galvanized or powder-coated steel frame and exposed bolts, with a natural Iroko wood tabletop and benches. And we appreciate the version with the backrest rail! Also available with an integrated sunshade, this table is a great choice in open patio spaces where shade is scarce. The Hopper table is the recipient of the 2011 Interior Innovation Award and the coveted 2011 Red Dot “Best of the Best” Award.
